“ Always excellence when our group goes to celebrate one of our birthdays!! The food is always fresh and hot, the servers are top notch and well, desserts are heavenly! ”
“ Almalfi's is a nice Italian option in Statesville. The stand alone restaurant provides a nicer ambiance in comparison to other Statesville options. They offer gluten free pizza crust and gluten free pasta. Their food is always good, and service is pretty standard for a dine-in restaurant. ”
“ Just go there. It's fantastic. Been there a few times now and the food is great. One of the best cheesesteaks in North Carolina. Don't forget the fried portobello mushrooms!!! ”
“ Food is fantastic and the service was outstanding! This is really a great place with beautiful ambiance throughout the place. Their vegetable pizza is amazing! Check them out whenever you are in Statesville, NC. ”
“ Amalfi's was, as always, amazing! I come here the few times a I am in town a year for the unmatchable food. I have searched high and low across the many states and cities within the USA for the quality of food, taste, and atmosphere that Amalfi's gives, but there is no true competitor. We started with the fresh bruschetta and calamari which had a flawless presentation and was delicious, followed by the Arrabbiata with kalamata olives and capers, eggplant parm, bruschetta chicken, and salmon - each beautifully presented and oh so delicious. The salads and soups are also great, especially with the house vinaigrette, but I am missing the addition of the olives on the salad. The bread and dipping sauce is also spot on. This restaurant is what I have measured every single Italian place that I have visited across many US states and cities to, but Amalfi's always has that #1 spot. Visit, enjoy, and savor your food - and definitely do not miss it! ”
“ Needed a place to eat a quick dinner in Statesville and I chose this based on reviews and location. In a shopping center never deters me as I know many a great shopping strip mall restaurants that are great. This is added to the list. It is a stand alone building with a parking lot. We got seated straight away without a reservation which was nice. I have to say our server was amazing so sweet and personable. Her name began with a G but I'm not going to try and say it so I don't butcher her name! She bought us drinks promptly and the lovely dough bread which was nice and warm and puffy and nice carb fix. I ordered the chicken Marsala which was enough to feed an army serving. Lots of nice sauce with flavor, mushrooms, onions and 2 nice thin pieces of chicken with lots of pasta . This was a nice classic version . Really good. The bread soaked up the sauce nicely ! On the table we also had the small veggie pizza which had a ton of veggies included eggplant which was unusual but really good. Let me tell you a small is plenty for 2 people! It looked like a medium to me. Nice thin crust and not too saucy. Great pizza ! The chicken Toscana also another solid dish. Nicely cooked chicken, olives and tomatoes and onions. Not overly sauced but just enough. Of course pasta! Good light dish. The restaurant is a nice family style restaurant with nice Italian decor . They also have a covered patio area. A nice fire pit too. Super nice staff who really seem to enjoy working there and work well together I noticed. If ever in Statesville! ”
“ If you want a nice warm cozy place to have some Italian food, this is the spot for you. It has a nice fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. The color and ambiance is so warm and inviting. Feels very good to sit and talk with others. The food is good. Not blown away by it, but it's good. I had the Tour Cucino which is a combination plate of chicken parmigiana and fettuccini Alfredo and manicotti. The manicotti was great. The fettuccini was perfectly made and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was really thin and I thought it would be really good (I prefer a thin filet of chicken). But it was tough and hard to cut. Almost as if burned a little and not savory and tender. I did not have their gelato but others with me did and they gave it high grade remarks. Food = 3.75 atmosphere 4.25. Solid 4. ”
